This is a very specific environment and the cameras should be discreetly blended with the surroundings and produce High Definition pictures for safety, slip and fall, theft, employee management. Areas of interest are:

Front desk – HD cameras placed behind the front desk will produce detailed guest faces and employee interaction with the guests

Front door camera – face camera to record faces of all people entering the building placed in position to produce front face picture to be used in facial recognition software. In case of hotel, security personnel 3VR system can notify about probable “wanted” or “trouble” guests to discreetly follow them around.

Bar, Lounge cameras – insure proper charging by employee for liquor and other goods served to customer.

Employee Entrance – ability to tie the camera system with a door access system and produce proof of arrival and exit by each employee with the exact date and time. Cross camera protects goods to be carried out by employee

Shipping and Receiving – documenting all delivery and shipping from the establishment – most often used by dishonest employee to carry goods out.

Time Clock – many hotels have traditional time clocks with proximity cards or paper time cards. Often the practice is the first employee who comes in punches for a few friends behind him – time stealing

Valet Parking – only high definition cameras can produce an image to prove that a car left by the guest “did have” a scratch on the door before it was taken by the valet.

Elevators – As the main communication inside hotel cameras over viewing elevator doors on garage and main floor protects from “unwanted people” to enter the guest area. Cameras inside elevator cabin should produce clear shot on whole cabin not only part of it.

Bell Desk – something missing or a discrepancy of an item left in the lounge can be easily solved with 2 Mega Pixel cameras.
