The Qt Active Emitters from Cambridge Sound Management are different from the Qt Emitters because they they have a resonant sound chamber for greater bass response, and run at higher power. This adds the ability to play background music in conjunction with the sound masking noise, and is especially effective in existing spaces where staff have to grow accustomed to a modified sound environment. The Qt sound processor supplying the signal to the emitters can also utilize those emitters for paging as well. With power supplied by injectors and signal supplied by the processor, going over the same CAT3 cable with RJ45 connectors, the installation and design couldn't be simpler.
