An excellent feature of this technology is it's a standalone system of hardware and software. The weatherproof, mil-spec body camera has a large front button for easy recording, and an easy-to-read display helps personnel use the cameras effectively, with GPS metadata tagging each recorded clip. Users can also tag clips with additional information with the companion smartphone app. When finished with a body cam, charging and uploading video is as easy as dropping the camera into a docking station, which automatically and rapidly uploads the video to the system controller, and optionally to Axis Camera Station or other compatible VMS.
